AIIMS B.Sc Hons Nursing, Paramedical Courses Open Round Online Seat Allocation Dates Released


New Delhi: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS Delhi) has announced the schedule and process for Open Round of Online Seat Allocation of B.Sc(Hons) Nursing & Paramedical Courses - 2022.

According to the schedule issued by AIIMS, the open round seat allocation will be held for online B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing & Paramedical Courses. Go through the table below to check the schedule.

Candidates will have to upload the scanned copy of admit card, 10th passing (for showing date of Birth), 12 th Class Mark-sheet, Caste Certificate if any (OBC/EWS/SC/ST), Certificate for PwBD, and Acceptance of resignation/seat surrender letter. 

The position for the vacant seat will be updated on the official website shortly. However, during online seat allocation, the number of seats may change. 

Counseling Procedures:

The process for online seat allocation for the session of 2022 for B.Sc. Hons. Nursing & Paramedical Courses is as follows:

  • Step 1
  1. Candidates who participated in the B.Sc.(Hons.) Nursing and Paramedical entrance exams for the session 2022, on June 18 and June 25, 2022, are eligible to apply online and select their preferred institutes for online seat allocation in the open round.
  1. Candidates must log in and select the "open round of seat allocation" option from their candidate dashboard.
  1. Eligible candidates will receive a link to the portal on their "MyPage," which they can access by logging in with the credentials they used to complete the Final Registration form and other procedures related to the AIIMS B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing/B.Sc. Paramedical Entrance Examination for session-2022.
  1. After selecting the link, qualified candidates will be taken to a portal for online B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing/B.Sc. Paramedical Seat Allocation, where they must register and create new passwords. Only the online B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing Seat/ Paramedical Seat Allocation portal will be accessible with this password.
  1. The candidate will be able to login to the online B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing/Paramedical courses Seat allocation portal once they have registered and start the selection and ordering process (AIIMS). For the date and time specified above, the online B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing/Paramedical courses Seat Allocation portal will be available.
  1. Verify your name and candidate ID after logging in. In order to exercise choices (AIIMS) and their ordering, click the Make Choice button. Then, submit the choices.
  1. The candidates must electronically deposit a security deposit in the amount of Rs. 25000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) for B.Sc. Nursing with Honors and Rs. 5000/- (Five Thousand Rupees) for B.Sc. Paramedical courses using the link provided on the candidate's MyPage.
  1. After logging into the online B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing/B.Sc. Paramedical courses Seat allocation portal, the candidate can view the choices they have submitted and locked by clicking the View choices button. To print a page, click the Print button.
  • Step 2
  1. The candidates must deposit Rs. 25000/- (Twenty Five Thousand Rupees) for B.Sc.(Hons.) Nursing and Rs. 5000/- (Five Thousand Rupees) for B.Sc. Paramedical courses using the link provided there.
  1. The AIIMS will verify the candidates' documents, and it will email the candidates the results of that verification. (If necessary)

(Certificate for OBC/EWS issued by the appropriate authority for Central Government Jobs/admission to Central Government College/Institute. The sub-caste must match the OBC Central List. Candidates from OBC shouldn't be in the Creamy Layer. OBC certificates must be in the format required by the Central Government as stated in the prospectus.) (Certificate for Persons with Benchmark Disability issued by a Medical Board that has been duly established and authorized, as specified in the prospectus)

  • Step 3
  1. In order to be eligible for seat allocation in the open round, candidates must have completed steps 1 and 2 and submitted security deposits of Rs. 25000 (in the case of B.Sc. Hons. Nursing candidates) or Rs. 5000 (in the case of B.Sc. Paramedical candidates).
  1. The results of the open round will be announced, with seat allocation based on the candidate's choices and the documents that have been verified by the AIIMS.
  • Step 4
  1. On the dates mentioned above, candidates must report to deposit original documents, join the designated AIIMS, and accept the seat that has been assigned to them in the open round of online seat allocation.
  1. Candidates will be subject to a penalty of INR 5000 (Twenty Five Thousand) and their security deposit will not be refunded if they fail to report to or join the designated AIIMS.

Important Information

  • The position for the vacant seat will be published on the website as soon as possible. However, when seats are allocated online, the number of seats may change.
  • The selection of candidates for available seats will be strictly based on their performance in the entrance examination and other terms and conditions or requirements specified in the prospectus.
  • The candidates must register themselves online for the open round of seat allocation on the AIIMS website, www.aiimsexam.ac.in, between November 16, 2022, and November 19, 2022, and submit a security deposit of either Rs. 25000 (twenty five thousand) or Rs. 5000 (five thousand) depending on the course.
  • The following original certificates must be produced by the candidate who was given a seat: 
    • Admit Card issued by AIIMS
    • Open round Registration Slip
    • Offer Letter
    • Seat allocation letter
    • Certificate from the Board showing her date of birth. (10th Passing Certificate)
    • Certificate in proof of passing the 12th class under 10+2 scheme/Senior School Certificate
    • Examination/Intermediate Science or any equivalent examination from a recognized Board.
    • Mark-sheet of the qualifying examination i.e. 12th class under 10+2 scheme/ Intermediate Science or any equivalent examination Certificate in proof of having secured 55% or more marks (50% in case of SC/ST)in aggregate in the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology). For B.Sc Paramedical Courses candidates should be secured 50% or more marks (45% in case of SC/ST)in aggregate in the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology)
    • Migration Certificate
  • The candidate should also bring the following certificate, if applicable :
    • SC/ST/OBC/EWS Certificate* (issued by the Competent Authority and should be in English or Hindi in language. Community should be clearly mentioned in the certificate. 
    • OBC/EWS certificate should be uploaded at the time of Open round Registration, AIIMS, New Delhi within due dates.

Note: The competent Authority must issue an OBC/EWS certificate* in order for applicants to Central Government jobs or institutions to be admitted. The core List of OBC should match the subcaste. OBC certificates must be in the format required by the Central Government as stated in the prospectus. Candidates from OBC should not be from the Creamy Layer. The OBC/EWS certificates' duration is as follows:

OBC (NCL)

June 19, 20221 to June 18, 2022 (both dates inclusive)

EWS

April 1, 2022 to June 18, 2022 (both dates inclusive)

  • Certificate for Persons with Benchmark Disability issued by a Medical Board that has been lawfully established and authorised, as stated in the prospectus.
  • Copies of the aforementioned certifications that have been self-attested.
  • Candidates will be treated as UR if their rank is within the cut-off rank for UR merit list or will not be considered to be in this list if their rank is outside the cut-off rank for UR Merit list if they are determined by the verification of their respective certificates to be ineligible for an OBC/EWS seat.
  • After the first round of UR seat distribution is completed, the second round of EWS seat allocation will be completed, and then the third round of OBC/SC/ST seat allocation.
  • All open seats in the EWS category will be transferred to the UR category and offered to UR candidates based on merit if any EWS seats remain unfilled following the EWS seat allocation.
  • All vacant seats shall be shifted to the UR category and provided to UR candidates on the basis of merit if any OBC seats remain unfilled after the OBC seats have been allocated.
  • In the case of a SC/ST seat allocation, any vacant SC seats shall be given to ST, and vice versa. Following these transfers, all SC/ST seats that remain unfilled will likewise be shifted to the UR Category.

Important: 

The candidate's claim to the assigned seat is mandatory upon their required reporting and joining at the relevant Institute by November 30, 2022, until 4:00 PM, as well as the verification of their identification and the eligibility of their original papers, as applicable.
