The main objective of implementing a Digital University is to have students from all over the country with access to world-class universal education and a tailored learning experience directly at their doorstep. According to the government, the Digital University would be established on a 'networked hub-spoke paradigm,' with cutting-edge ICT knowledge used for hub construction.
The Digital University would be accessible in a variety of Indian languages and ICT media. According to TimesNow, the greatest public universities and institutes in India are expected to participate and interact as a chain of hub-spokes for Digital University.
There will be no seating restrictions at the Digital University. This was done in order to address the issue of limited places in higher education. Learning will be removed from the equation, and teaching will be made available to all kids in India, regardless of their region or language. The Digital University will aim to reduce inequalities in faculty development, SEDG enrollment, employability skills, and other areas.
