New Delhi: Indian universities accept PhD candidates in July and January sessions. The admissions process has begun at various universities for the January 2023 session.

Three government research institutes have already announced their PhD courses for 2023 as of August 29, 2022.

184 Seats In 31 departments Are Available For PhD admission At The Central University of Haryana in 2022–2023

The PhD Admission Notification for the Academic Year 2022–23 has been announced by the Central University of Haryana (CUH), a Central University.

The university will shortly hold an entrance exam. There are 166 open PhD places overall, spread across 25 departments.

The PhD Admission Notification for the Academic Year 2022–2023 was announced by the Central University of Himachal Pradesh (CUHP), one of the Central Universities. The college will hold an entrance examination: Shodh Patrata Pariksha at Himachal Pradesh Kendriya Vishwavidyalaya (HPKVSPP-2022).

PhD Phase I at Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University Lucknow opens in 2022–2023

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) Lucknow, a public collegiate university in Lucknow, has issued an invitation for applications from qualified applicants for PhD Admission Phase I of 2022–2023 on Tuesday, September 2, 2022.

 

Interested, qualified candidates will be considered for the PhD program with fellowships under the Homi Bhabha Research and Teaching Assistance / AICTE's ADF Scheme, provided that they meet the qualifying requirements and that seats are still available under the relevant programs.

JNU PhD Admission 2022–23: JRF and GATE Category Application Portal Opens; JNU Entrance to Open Soon

Jawaharlal Nehru University or JNU, the top-ranked university in India, has announced the prospectus for PhD Admission and the Diploma in Proficiency for the academic year 2022–2023 in New Delhi on August 26, 2022.

The CBT is required for applicants seeking admission to Ph.D. programs (Computer Based Test).

• Candidates who qualify for JRF will not be subject to the computer-based test (CBT). They must submit separate applications under the JRF category. These applicants will be shortlisted and invited directly to the viva-voce.
• Candidates who have passed the GATE exam and are applying for admission to the engineering school are excluded from the computer-based test (CBT). They must submit a separate application under the GATE category. These applicants will be shortlisted and invited directly to the viva-voce.
• Candidates who qualify under the JRF and GATE categories may now apply online.
• According to an announcement from JNU, the application gateway for the 2022–23 Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE) will soon be available.

The 44 CSIR Research Labs AcSIR Common PhD Entrance Test is now open for registration.

August 27, 2022, New Delhi: The application site for admission to PhD programs in science and engineering for the January 2023 batch has been established by the Institute of National Importance Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) in New Delhi. The research streams are in science and engineering, and they present a remarkable chance to do PhD research in the nationally recognized CSIR Laboratories.

44 CSIR laboratories that are part of AcSIR take a common PhD entrance exam. For the PhD Test, there is no application cost.

PhD Admissions At IIIT Delhi Under AICTE Doctoral Fellowship Announced For 2022–2023 (ADF)

As part of the AICTE Doctoral Fellowship (ADF) Scheme 2022–23, the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT Delhi) accepts applications for August 2022 PhD Admissions.

Benefits of the Fellowship: For the first two years, the fellowship will pay Rs. 31,000 per month, and for the third year, Rs. 35,000 per month. According to the Government of India (GoI) regulations in effect in the city or location where the Research Fellow is conducting their research, HRA will be given at 8%, 16%, and 24%.

The applicants must have achieved GATE or NET certification within five years.

Ph.D. Admission For December 2022 Launches As IIT Bombay PhD Admission Opens At Monash Research Academy

For the session beginning in December 2022, the IIT Bombay-Monash Research Academy (The Academy) is accepting applications from qualified applicants for admission to various PhD research programs.

IIT Bombay and Melbourne's Monash University have partnered to form the IIT Bombay-Monash Research Academy (Australia). The PhD Agreement between IIT Bombay and Monash University, which serves as the foundation for the Academy, provides students with a dual-badged PhD degree from each institution.

A candidate with at least two years of professional experience may be considered for admission even without a valid GATE score or research fellowship. There is fierce competition for positions, and all applicants must undergo a stringent selection procedure.
