1591 Seats Available in MP DME's Seat Matrix for Round 2 MBBS & BDS Admission

New Delhi: The Director of Medical Education (DME) Madhya Pradesh has announced that a total of 1591 Seats are available in the seat matrix for MBBS and BDS admission for the second round. 

The DME, MP has also released the lists of candidates who chose to upgrade (create a virtual vacancy) in the first round, candidates who were satisfied (did not choose to upgrade), candidates who are eligible for the MP NEET Seat Matrix second round, and information about the choice-filling and locking process for the second round on its official portal. 

Detailed Seat Matrix for MBBS & BDS Admission

There are a total of 574 seats vacant for the MBBS programmes in government and private colleges, whereas a total of 1017 seats are available in government and private colleges for admission to the BDS programme. Tabulated below illustrates the 1591 seats that are vacant for the second round of MBBS and BDS admissions.

Process for Choice Filling and Choice Locking:

Step 1: In order to do the online selection filling and locking, visit the DME portal @dme.mponline.gov.in.

Step 2: On the candidate login page, select Choice filling.

Step 3: Pick one from the following choices. For the Government/For the Government and the Private.

Step 4: Pay the fee in accordance with the option you chose. The advance cost may be offset by the first-round admissions candidates' fees. Following payment, the press moves on to the candidate profile homepage where the choice form can be filled out.

Step 5: Click on Choice filling on candidate login 

Step 6: Choice filling page will be displayed; fill choices.

Step 7: Lock choices by submitting OTP sent to registered mobile no. on the portal.

Step 8: take a printout of locked choices for future reference. 

Candidates must note that in case they do part payment, after payment, the press continues to redirect to the candidate profile homepage to pay the remaining fee. They will be redirected to the homepage till the full payment has been made by the candidate.

Eligibility Criteria: 

• Candidates must be 17 years old as of December 31, 2022. 
• Candidates should have completed Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and English as their four core subjects in Class 12 or the equivalent.
• Candidates must be residents of Madhya Pradesh.
• Candidates must have qualified NEET UG 2022. 

Additionally, a list of candidates who are satisfied (did not opt for an upgrade in the first round), a list of candidates who have not opted for an upgrade in the first round, and a list of candidates who are qualified for the second round have all been released.
