Master of Science [M.S] [Political Science - Global Environmental Governance, Sustainability and Climate Change] From Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam

Academic Eligibility:

Directly admissible

• Students are directly admissible to the Master’s program in Political Science with a BSc degree in Political Science obtained at an established institute and a curriculum including social science methods.
• Students are admissible to the Master’s program in Political Science with any Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree including a minor program in Political Science, such as the VU FSS Minor Political Science (30 EC).

Conditionally admissible

• If students have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a field other than political science, they may be asked to complete a bridging program of max. 30 EC before applying to the Master's in Political Science (PS).
• Depending on the discipline of students degree, this bridging program consists of academic courses with a minimum of 12 EC in the field of (quantitative and/or qualitative) methods and techniques of social science research and/or academic substantive courses in the field of political science with a minimum of 6/12 EC.

Indian Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet the following eligibility criteria:

• VU Amsterdam requires all applicants to take an English test. Exceptions are made for students who have completed a bachelor's or master's in Canada, the USA, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, or Australia.
• TOEFL and IELTS tests must have been completed no more than two years before 1^st September of the year in which your course starts.
• The deadline for non-EEA students is 1 June. EEA students can send their test results before 31 August at the latest.

International students hailing from non-English speaking countries also need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
