WBMDFC was founded in the year 1996 as per the West Bengal Minorities Development and Finance Corporation Act of 1995. They organize many events like skill enhancement training, scholarships, schemes for the economic welfare of society, career counseling, mass awareness, etc. These schemes are for the religious minority communities and are helping in their upliftment. They provide educational loans to the weaker section of the society as well. The fees of training are paid by WBMDFC and students can pursue their dreams without financial worries. Religious Minority Groups' students studying in class 1 to Ph.D. level students, all can apply for their scholarships.
