In the four-semester master's program in business informatics with the Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree, specialists and managers are responsible for the design of socio-technical information systems in the digital transformation educated.
The training takes into account key success factors for excellent career opportunities for graduates in companies, research institutions, and social areas by imparting specialist knowledge and methodological competence, focusing on design-oriented business informatics and computer science, and having an international orientation and practical orientation.

The admission requirements for the master's program in business informatics (M. Sc.) Are as follows:

The degree must be a professional university degree in economics (e.g. B.Sc. business informatics, B.Sc. economics, B.Sc. business administration) [ or a degree with a focus on economics (from winter semester 19/20)] with a standard period of study of be at least six semesters at the University of Paderborn or a state or state-recognized university or a state or state-recognized vocational academy.
The degree must include at least a degree in the following areas and scopes: Business Informatics: 30 LP, IT: 30 LP, Economics: 30 LP and Bachelor thesis: 10 CP
