- As an independent discipline, business informatics integrates knowledge areas of economics - especially business administration - and computer science. As an IT specialist, you will therefore become interdisciplinary specialists who understand both information technology and economic contexts and use the latest technologies to achieve business goals.
- They accompany the design, development, introduction and use of these technologies in companies or in administration. For example, you can design intelligent systems that predict companies when the optimal maintenance times for a plant's machines are, or you can support company executives by providing an optimal information and decision-making basis.

- General university entrance qualification or relevant subject-related university entrance qualification
- DSH certificate (minimum DSH-2) issued by a German university or Studienkolleg according to KMK-regulations (minimum result DSH 2)
- TestDaF certificate passed with level 4 in all four exam sections
- Deutsches Sprachdiplom Stufe II issued by the "Deutsche Kultursministerkonferenz"
- Großes Deutsches Sprachdiplom awarded by the Goethe-Institut
- telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule
- Feststellungprüfung by a recognized Foundation college affiliated to a German university
