The institutes of German, English and Romance studies are involved in the interdisciplinary course. This gives students the opportunity to attend seminars on phenomena in German, English, French and Spanish. Students also have the opportunity to deepen the knowledge of English and learn other foreign languages. The course is expanded to include internships in various professional fields.

- General university entrance qualification or relevant subject-related university entrance qualification
- DSH certificate (minimum DSH-2) issued by a German university or Studienkolleg according to KMK-regulations (minimum result DSH 2)
- TestDaF certificate passed with level 4 in all four exam sections
- Deutsches Sprachdiplom Stufe II issued by the "Deutsche Kultursministerkonferenz"
- Großes Deutsches Sprachdiplom awarded by the Goethe-Institut
- telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule
- Feststellungprüfung by a recognized Foundation college affiliated to a German university
