The course of Environmental Engineering at the TUM envisions an Engineer who is able to foresee and estimate the impacts and consequences of engineering projects and activities on the environment, the society, and the economy. The Environmental Engineer should as well be able to conceive and design measures in order to mitigate or avoid the negative impacts of these activities.

There are zero tuition fees for all students at TUM. However, all the students are entitled to pay a semester fee of 144.40€ ( 170.39 USD) which includes Student Union fees and the basic semester ticket for public transportation in Munich.

To apply for the MS Automotive Engineering program of TUM, you must have completed a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university. You must demonstrate proficiency in English through a recognized language test such as TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent. Submission of GRE score is necessary for admission in this program.
To apply for the Master in Renewable Energy program of TUM you must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, natural sciences, or mathematics, with a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Along with this you must also have a valid ELP test score. GRE score is not optional but preferred.
