There is zero tuition fees for all students at TUM. However all the students are entitled to pay a semester fee of 147.0€ ( 154.39 USD) which includes Student Union fees and the basic semester ticket for public transportation in Munich.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- The undergraduate students must have sufficient marks in the entrance assessment test to pursue an undergraduate course at the Technical University of Munich.
- Official transcripts of high school from where the student has completed his/her schooling.
- Language Proficiency Test Certificates: German Proficiency Test and English Proficiency Test.
- Germany proficiency certificates like DSH, DSD II, TWSTDAF, GOETHE CERTIFICATE are to be submitted.

To apply for the MS Automotive Engineering program of TUM, you must have completed a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university. You must demonstrate proficiency in English through a recognized language test such as TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent. Submission of GRE score is necessary for admission in this program.
To apply for the Master in Renewable Energy program of TUM you must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, natural sciences, or mathematics, with a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Along with this you must also have a valid ELP test score. GRE score is not optional but preferred.
