The Master in Landscape Architecture (LA) is an official program of the Faculty of Architecture at the Technical University of Munich(TUM). According to the concept of two-staged study programs, it builds upon the Bachelor program in "Landscape Architecture and Landscape Planning" (BSc) at the TUM.The master's degree program in Landscape Architecture combines aspects of planning, artistic creativity and technical knowledge in the field of Landscape Architecture. It is a scientific study-program, combining aspects of planning, artistic creativity and technical knowledge in the field of Landscape Architecture.


Important Dates

There are no tuition fees per law in Germany.In order to study at TUM you do, however, have to pay the student union fee and a solidarity contribution for the Semester Ticket.

There is zero tuition fees for all students at TUM. However all the students are entitled to pay a semester fee of 147.40€ ( 154.39 USD) which includes Student Union fees and the basic semester ticket for public transportation in Munich.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

  • Minimum requirements to apply for a Master's program at TUM are a recognized undergraduate degree (e.g. a bachelor’s) and the successful completion of the aptitude assessment procedure. Aptitude assessment allows the TUM school or department to which you are applying the opportunity to evaluate your individual talents and motivation for study.
  • proof of english proficiency by scoring in TOFEL or IELTS.

I am a mechanical engineering graduate with 1 year core experience. I dont know German. What are the eligibilities to apply for M.S Automotive engineering in TUM.

To apply for the MS Automotive Engineering program of TUM, you must have completed a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university. You must demonstrate proficiency in English through a recognized language test such as TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent. Submission of GRE score is necessary for admission in this program.

To apply for the Master in Renewable Energy program of TUM you must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, natural sciences, or mathematics, with a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Along with this you must also have a valid ELP test score. GRE score is not optional but preferred.

International students applying for admission at TUM must submit a valid German Language Proficiency test certificate. You can check the admission requirements of the said program from BA Architecture at TUM.
