- The Faculty of Biology of the LMU Munich offers a comprehensive two year Master of Science program in Molecular and Cellular Biology for graduates with a background in biology (B.Sc. in biology or equivalent).
- Based on both fundamental research and applied sciences, molecular and cellular biology contribute enormously to the decryption of molecular processes, and to the development and discovery of novel drugs, energy sources, or enzymes for industrial applications.
- The master’s program in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the LMU Biocenter links modern molecular methods to a large number of disciplines and is oriented towards highly motivated and globally diverse next-generation researchers with a strong interest in molecular and cellular mechanisms.
- The program is taught in English and it offers state-of-the-art education in a variety of topics such as Cell Biology, Genetics, Human Biology and Genomics, and Microbiology.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students should have successfully completed a bachelor's degree with a total of at least 180 ECTS credits in biology or a related subject, e.g. bioinformatics, (bio)chemistry, (bio)physics, biotechnology.
Indian Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program

Course Curriculum
It's a great course. Unlike even other German universities, I really prefer the curriculum here. You get a lot of freedom to do things and choose your courses and mould your masters in the way you want it to be.

To apply for the Bachelor of Science program of LMU you must have completed a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification. International students seeking admission at LMU must apply through the International Office of the university. Please check the admission requirements for undergdauate admission at this university from LMU Admissions.
It is mandatory for students applying at different universities to pay the necessary application fee for the respective universities. So its better to apply for only those top universities in your list. International students seeking admission in Germany must submit an English Language Proficiency test, plus proficiency in German Language is also necessary for many of the top universities.
To get admission in the BA Art and Multimedia program of Ludwig Maximilian University if you have to successfully participate in the aptitude test conducted by the university. You are also required to submit a portfolio with artistic works. Along with that you must be show an ELP certificate.
