In the electrical engineering course of study, nation wide recognized and coordinated teaching concepts impart basic technical knowledge of electrical engineering that enable students to work independently and creatively using scientific methods. For this course, students need one of the following degrees or certificates:

General University Entrance Qualification
Professional qualification (studying without a high school diploma)
TestDaf: Level 4 in all sub-exams
Goethe certificate: level C2 in all module parts
Telc German: C1 university
German language diploma of the Conference of Ministers of Education: DSD II with continuous level C1 in all areas
German language test for university admission (DSH) at a registered university: The DSH is divided into three stages. The DSH-2 is required to start studying. There is an exception for the artistic courses (visual arts, visual communication, and product design). Only DSH-1 is required for this: Proof of language proficiency for admission to study at the art college.
