Academics

• University degree in a relevant subject
• at least 8 credit points in the fundamentals of electrical engineering - at least 4 credit points in technical mechanics
• at least 21 credit points in higher mathematics (with specific content)
• at least 6 credit points in measurement and control technology (with specific content, see admission regulations)

Language Proficiency

In order to be able to start a German-language course, foreign applicants must prove that they have the appropriate language skills. For the application you need at least B1 level knowledge. All certificates are accepted, but a certificate of participation in the B1 course is also sufficient.

• Graduates of the master's program are qualified for responsible work in industry, technical services and science. With the appropriate aptitude and inclination, a doctorate can follow the master's degree. Most graduates choose to work in industry.
• Mechatronic engineers are open to a variety of industries - energy technology, automation, medical technology, microsystems technology, automotive engineering and much more. The activities range from the development and optimization of products or the installation and maintenance of systems to sales and management. Some Master's graduates become self-employed with their own inventions or services.
