The bachelor's degree program in Marine Ecosystem and Fisheries Sciences conveys both extensive professional qualification theoretical foundations and methodological knowledge and skills in the marine sciences.
The students get an overview of the biodiversity in different marine areas of the world ocean and learn to understand the basic functioning of marine food webs and the underlying biogeochemical processes.
Furthermore, extensive knowledge about issues related to the management of marine resources and ecosystems, the “rules of good scientific work”, and professional and social skills are imparted.
