Bachelor of Science [B.S] (Landscape Ecology and Nature Conservation)
Field of Study:
The course is a comprehensive range of courses, which should show ways of dealing with nature in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner, especially at the level of complexity of landscapes. Both regional and international aspects are taken into account. The students should be able to grasp the landscape in its complexity, to evaluate the potential inherent in the landscape and to work to maintain its functionality and sustainable usability.

Tuition Fees
The University of Greifswald does not demand a typical tuition fee. Students have to pay 82 USD per semester as Semester contribution and 107 USD once as enrolment fee.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Prior to commencing studies, students will be required to provide proof of German language proficiency. The following certificates are recognized by the University of Greifswald for applications to a full degree course:
- the ‘Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang ausländischer Studienbewerber’ (DSH) at least level 2*
- the ‘Deutsche Sprachdiplom der Kultusministerkonferenz’ (level 2)
- the Goethe-Zertifikat C2 from the Goethe Institute
- the ‘Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache’ (Test DaF), at least level 4 in all partial examinations*
- the certificate ‘telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule’
- a completed degree in German Studies, an assessment test with German as an examination subject.
