Business administration examines and explains the economic and social conditions and functions of companies and other economically active institutions.
The university offers a nine-semester diploma course. The focus of the course is on the planning, implementation, and control of commercial decisions. The structure of the course aims to enable graduates to recognize business problems independently in professional practice, to work out solutions to problems, to propose alternative courses of action and, if necessary, to implement them.

Tuition Fees

The University of Greifswald does not demand a typical tuition fee. Students have to pay 82 USD per semester as Semester contribution and 107 USD once as enrolment fee.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Prior to commencing studies, students will be required to provide proof of German language proficiency. The following certificates are recognized by the University of Greifswald for applications to a full degree course:

the ‘Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang ausländischer Studienbewerber’ (DSH) at least level 2*
the ‘Deutsche Sprachdiplom der Kultusministerkonferenz’ (level 2)
the Goethe-Zertifikat C2 from the Goethe Institute
the ‘Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache’ (Test DaF), at least level 4 in all partial examinations*
the certificate ‘telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule’
a completed degree in German Studies, an assessment test with German as an examination subject.
