Master of Science [M.S] [Chemistry] From University of Duisburg-Essen

Academic Eligibility:

Successful completion is a prerequisite for admission to the master’s degree in chemistry

• the Bachelor's degree in chemistry at the University of Duisburg-Essen or
• an equivalent or comparable degree in chemistry or a science-related field related to chemistry
• The overall grade of the Bachelor's degree must generally be at least 3.0 (> 66-grade points or grade points; each out of 100) or better. The examination board decides on exceptions.

The examination board determines equivalence. For graduates of relevant courses, it specifies which additional examinations must be completed by what point in time.

Indian Eligibility:

Indians students are eligible to apply if they meet the following requirements:

• The majority of foreign applicants must pass the "German language test for university entrance" (DSH 2 level; apart from a few exceptions) before starting their studies.
• Citizens of a country outside the EU with a foreign university entrance qualification must pass the "German language test for university entrance" (DSH 2 level) or the TestDaF (TDN 4) before starting their studies.
• Students whose mother tongue is not German must prove sufficient German language skills by means of a passed TestDaF or DSH test procedure when registering for the course.
  In the case of submission according to the TestDaF procedure, a grade of 4/4/4/4 must be provided, in the case of the DSH examination at least 40 points must be proven.
• Good knowledge of English, preferably spoken and written, is indispensable for a natural science course, especially with regard to the master’s course, which is exclusively in English.

International students hailing from non-English speaking countries can prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
