I think the campus life at the university is great. They have a sports program providing sports activities at a very cheap rate. They have canteens for everyone that provided food at a very cheap rate even to vegan students. I have found many of my countrymen, Indians on campus and in class. However, the university is more diverse than my class. TU Berlin has opportunities for everyone in every field. As a student of TU Berlin, you can study a course at any university in Germany and get credits for that. The library is vast with several computers one can lend up to 50 books at a time. There are several societies one can be part of. One can join Facebook and WhatsApp groups and connect with more people. There are many conferences and seminars happening simultaneously where one can interact and meet people.

It is very difficult to find accommodation in Berlin. One should apply 6 months in advance. There are student Dorms but they are very hard to find. It is better to book one from India from known sites only. I came to Berlin, lived in a hotel for a few days and then found permanent accommodation. It takes 1-2 months to see that on average one is already in Berlin.

A lot of event take place for free of cost and some paid events. All information is shared in your student email id registered with the university

I found a part time job in Siemens energy that eased the financial situation for me. There are many studentdorms available that are cheaper than normal accomodation cost.
