Master of Engineering [M.Eng] (Mechanical Engineering)

The master's degree in "Mechanical Engineering" includes, among other things, computer-based planning and communication technologies, which are summarized today under the keyword e-manufacturing. Their goal is to enable contemporary design, simulation, production, and successful quality management. As part of the project work and the seminars, in-depth knowledge of the marketable software tools of the "digital factory" is imparted. These are complemented by a variety of industry-related applications.
Tuition Fees
City University of Applied Sciences does not demand a typical tuition fee. Students have to pay 555 USD per semester as Semester contribution.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- Bachelor or diploma in relevant subject areas with study and examination achievements totaling 210 ECTS points and an average grade of at least "good" 2.5 (ECTS grade A or B).
- Bachelor graduates with 180 ECTS credit points must provide evidence of a relevant industrial internship of at least 20 weeks duration and submit a written scientific report before starting their studies. 30 ECTS points are recognized for the internship completed and the report assessed as “passed”.
- Furthermore, there is the possibility to add the missing 30 credits with modules of the Bachelor's degree course in mechanical engineering before the start of the master's program.
- German language skills must be demonstrated for foreign applicants. (TestDaF with 16 points or DSH2)
