Saarland University of Applied Science Application Deadlines

HTW SAAR accepts new students for all the bachelor’s degree programs and most of the master’s programs for the winter intake only. However, few of the programs offer summer intake as well. Listed below are the programs that offered in summer terms:

International students applying for programs at the Saarland University of Applied Science must apply through the uni-ASSIST to receive the Preliminary Review Document (VPD).
Students must apply for the VPD six weeks before the university application deadline. After receiving the preliminary review documents applicants can submit the VPD along with the required documents.

Visa Process For International Students

Applicants after receiving the acceptance letter from the university and preparing the necessary funds can apply for a Germany study visa through the German Embassy or consulate in their home country. Applicants are required to pass through an interview process at the Embassy.

The processing of the VPD application usually takes 4 -8 weeks after receiving the application and payment of the application fee.
