Health sciences is on improving the health of the population through prevention and health promotion. Interest in knowledge is the analysis of influencing factors and courses of health and illness as well as the derivation of needs-based care and their evaluation. In order to achieve this goal, the health sciences consist of different scientific individual disciplines such as industrial sciences, epidemiology, health promotion, health economics, and health policy. They build on basic subjects such as sociology, psychology, medicine, ethics, economics, management, pedagogy or communication science.
