German Studies in Osnabrück deals with German literature, language and culture in a European context. It is viewed as a combination of three subjects: modern German literary studies (NDL), older German literary studies (ÄDL) in conjunction with early modern literature (FN) and German linguistics (SW). From the third semester, students can specialize - two are selected from the three subjects offered. An interdisciplinary exchange on other subjects is planned.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
A prerequisite for admission to a master’s course is a subject-relevant, professionally qualifying, academic degree - usually a bachelor’s degree. In addition, special suitability ( e.g. language skills, motivation) must be demonstrated.
