TS LAWCET Cutoff 2023 is likely to be declared after the release of results in the last week of August 2023. Candidates who clear the cutoff can appear in TS LAWCET 2023 Counselling process for admissions into 3-year and 5-year LLB programs to Colleges Accepting TS LAWCET Scores.
- TS LAWCET 2023 Exam is likely to be conducted in July 2023
- Candidates applying for the LLB programs must score a minimum of 42 marks out of 120 marks (35% of total) to be eligible for admissions.
- There are no criteria for minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST category students.
- For the 3-year LLB program, 21 colleges will accept the scores of TS LAWCET 2023 Exam.
- Whereas, for a 5-year integrated law program, 13 law schools will accept the scores of TS LAWCET 2023 Exam.

TS LAWCET 2023 Cutoff Calculation
- TS LAWCET Cut off is the minimum score required by candidates to secure admission in LLB and Integrated LLB program offered by the participating colleges and institutes situated in the state of Telangana.
- TS LAWCET cut off is declared soon after the results based on the candidates’ performance in the written test.
- Based on the cutoff released, TSCHE releases the list of candidates for the counselling process.
- TSCHE also releases the cut off of the participating institute after the completion of the seat allotment process.
TS LAWCET 2023 Cutoff is calculated keeping a lot of factors in mind such as:
- The number of applicants
- The number of seats available
- The difficulty level of the entrance test
- The number of candidates qualified
- Previous year cut off marks
Merit List 2023
TS LAWCET 2023 Cut Off: Merit List
- TS LAWCET Merit list will be released along with the cut-off by TSCHE soon after the announcement of results, which will be released in the 1st week of September, 2023.
- Candidates have to score minimum 35% marks in the entrance test to be eligible to qualify for the counselling rounds and admission procedure.
- TS LAWCET merit list comprises names of only qualified candidates. Candidates who will score the highest mark in the examination will lead the rank list.
In case of tie in TS LAWCET 2023 Merit List, the following tie-breaking criteria:
- A candidate who will score most in Part C i.e. Aptitude for the Study of Law will be given a higher rank in the merit list.
- In case the tie still continues, candidates' marks in Part B i.e. Current Affairs will be considered.
- If the tie still fails to break, candidates will be grouped together for ranking purposes and at the time of admission candidates' age will be considered. Candidates older in age will get preference over the younger candidate.
