TISSNET 2023 Exam Dates have been announced. TISS is going to conduct the exam on February 25, 2023. The exam is scheduled to be conducted in a single slot from 2 PM to 3:40 PM. TISSNET 2023 Registration Dates
- Registration can be done via online mode only.
- TISSNET Online Application Form will be released at admissions.tiss.edu.
- The offline form can be obtained by sending a request to the Mumbai campus for a printed application form.
- The filled offline application form has to be submitted to the Assistant Registrar (Academic), Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Deonar Mumbai, 400088.
- A candidate can apply for maximum 3 programs in two campuses and pay for those programs in one online form and should not fill more than one form.

TISSNET Exam and Result Dates 2023
- Candidates who successfully register for the examination will be able to download their TISSNET 2023 Admit Card from the official portal.
- Enter registered email ID and password to download access to the document.
- Admit Card will contain the following information:
- Name of candidate
- Application/Registration number
- Date of examination
- Time of examination
- Test Center
- Course/ Program Name etc.
- The exam will be conducted in online mode, having 100 MCQs.

TISSPAT/TISSMAT, and Online Aceessment (PI) Dates 2023
- Candidates clearing TISSNET will be shortlisted for the further stages of the Selection Procedure. Check TISSNET 2023 Cutoff
- It will consist of Pre-Interview Test/ Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds.
- One must clear these rounds in order to qualify for final admissions.
- In GD and PI, candidates are tested on their knowledge of the subject chosen.

TISSNET 2023 Merit Lists
- Post commencement of GD and PI, a final list of selected candidates is prepared.
- The list is prepared out of 225 marks for the counseling process.
- Out of 225 marks, 100 marks are for TISSNET, and the rest 125 marks are for Pre-Interview Tests + GD/PI round.

TISSNET 2023 PI FAQs
Ques. Where will the PIT/ PI rounds be held?
Ans. TISSNET will take place in 40 different cities/towns across the country. Pre Interview Test (PIT) and Personal Interview (PI) for programmes offered at Mumbai, Tuljapur, BANYAN, Chennai will be conducted at the Mumbai Campus. For programmes offered at Hyderabad and Guwahati, the PIT/PI will be conducted at the respective campuses. Candidates applying for programmes at more than one campus will have to travel to these places for PIT/PI. Except for the eligible candidates from the SC/ST categories, all others will bear the cost of travel, lodging, and boarding for attending the NET, as well as PIT/PI.
Ques. Can I change the date of my PIT/ PI?
Ans. A change in the dates for PIT and PI may be considered if the date of PIT and PI at the TISS clashes with the date of entrance test of another Institution or the date of final year examination of the candidate. However, the candidate must produce documentary evidence for this. Please note that the changed date for PIT and PI will be only within the time schedule announced by TISS.
Ques. Which is more scoring in a TISSNET essay or interview?
Ans. Try to maximize scores in each section. Choose your best area and nail it. Never ignore TISSNET though PIT makes a lot of difference later on. Interview is the most scoring part if you are prepared for the same.
Ques. What is the selection procedure followed by TISS?
Ans. The selection procedure happens in 2 stages and has 3 components of assessments. Candidates appear in the National entrance test (TISSNET) based on their performance in the exam; only the shortlisted candidates are called for the Pre Interview Test and Personal Interview (PIT/PI).
Ques. How will be the seats allotted post final merit list?
Ans. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of merit and the preferences indicated by the candidates at the time of filling up the online application form (Kindly Indicate your preferences carefully as it has implications for the merit list).
