NEST 2023 Admit Card: Check Release Date, Exam Centers, and Important Instructions

NEST 2023 Admit Card is expected to be released in June 2023, on the official website i.e. nestexam.in. Candidates who successfully register for NEST 2023 are able to download their hall ticket using their User ID and Password. The admit card will not be sent by post to the candidates individually. NEST 2023 will be conducted likely in June 2023. in two sessions in 90 cities across the country. It is important to carry a valid photo id card to the exam hall, along with NEST Admit Card. In case of any discrepancy, you may contact at concerned authority.

How to Download NEST 2023 Admit Card?

Candidates can view and download NEST 2023 Admit Card from the official website. Candidates will not receive the Admit Card by post, candidates should download and take a print of the admit card.

  • Enter Application Number, Password and the captcha image code provided
  • Proceed and Click login

NEST 2023 Admit Card carries details such as:

  • Name of Candidate
  • Father’s and Mother’s Name
  • Address: Candidates address which is filled during the time of registration is mentioned on admit card/hall ticket.
  • Date of Examination: Date of NEST 2023 is mentioned in the format Date/Month/Year.
  • Email ID: Registered email id is mentioned.
  • Venue of the Examination: Exact address of the venue with landmark is mentioned on the admit card.
  • Center number: Center number and College or University allotted to the candidate is also mentioned.
  • Timing schedule: Examination schedule including the break timing, if applicable is mentioned on the admit card/hall ticket.

Admit Card Discrepancy

Discrepancy in NEST 2023 Admit Card

Once the online application is carefully submitted, candidates are allowed to preview the application form. At this stage, they are required to check the filled information and correct using edit link. Candidates can proceed by submitting the form if all the details are correct.

If there are any discrepancies in NEST 2023 Admit card:

  • Discrepancies in NEST 2023 Admit card cannot be corrected.
  • Irrelevant changes as corrections will not be entertained by the authority.
  • If there is an urgent requirement of change in any field of Admit card, candidates can contact the conducting body by emailing the concern authority at official website.

NEST Required Documents

Documents Required with NEST 2023 Admit card

Candidates are required to carry at least one original and valid identity card for verification on the day of the examination. 

Candidates can carry any one of the listed ones below:

  • PAN Card
  • AADHAR card
  • College ID card
  • Driver’s License
  • Passport
  • Voters ID
  • Identification Affidavit signed by a gazetted officer

The photograph and signature of candidate on the valid identity card and admit card should match. The valid photo id should be damage-free and the photograph should be clearly visible.

At the time of application, candidates are required to select their preferred exam cities. The exam Center allotment is based on the candidate’s preference and convenience. In exceptional cases, sometimes candidates might be allotted a different or nearby exam Center. NEST 2023 will be conducted in 90 Centers across India.

NEST Exam Guidelines

NEST 2023 Exam Day Instruction

Here are a set of instructions that should be followed while appearing for NEST 2023

  • Candidates are required to reach the examination Center at least half an hour before the scheduled time. The exam will last for 3 and a half hours. For the morning session, candidates must reach before 9:30 am and for the afternoon session, candidates must reach before 2:30 pm. 
  • Candidates who shall reach after the commencement of the exam will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before 11 am and 4 pm for their respective sessions.
  • Candidates must bring their NEST 2023 Admit Card and a photo ID with them.  One can utilize their school photo identity card or any other photo ID issued by the Government agency to the examination hall.
  • Mobile phones and any other electronic gadgets are not allowed inside the exam hall.  
  • Candidates can take the question paper along with them.
  • Candidates are not allowed to take mobile phones inside the examination hall.
  • Any written material, electronic gadgets, log tables or calculators are strictly prohibited.

According to the NEST cutoff trends, the required cutoff remains around 45% of the total marks.
