MET application process consists of steps like initial registration, filling the application form with required details, documents uploading, and payment of application fees. MET 2023 Application Fee is INR 600 (General category) for all courses while the fee for the selected courses is INR 1400. The entrance fee is by default a part of the application fee. MET 2023 1st attempt is going to be conducted on April 28 – 30, 2023 and 2nd attempt will be conducted on May 19 – 22, 2023.
Registered candidates will be able to access MET 2023 Slot Booking facility on April 21 – 24, 2023. Successfully registered candidates will be able to download their MET 2023 Admit Card after the completion of MET 2023 Slot Booking.

MET 2023 Application Form Process
MET 2023 Application Form Process is an online process. Candidates who wish to appear in MET 2023 can start filling MET 2023 Application Form from October 13, 2022. Last Date for filling MET 2023 Application Form has been extended to April 15, 2023.
How to Fill MET Application Form?
The students are instructed to read the information brochure carefully before filling MET Application Form. The hard copy of the form will not be sent to the MAHE in case the payment and form are filled online. Incomplete application forms will be rejected. There are three major steps to complete MET Registration. They are as follows:
Step 1: Filling in Basic Information
In this step, candidates have to ‘Register to Apply’. They have to fill in the following details:
- Personal Details: Full Name, Gender, Email ID, DOB, Parents information etc.
- Course & Category: Candidate’s category, Course, Program and Stream.
- Location: Select the country, state, city and enter your pin with selecting the nationality.
Step 2: Uploading of Photo and Signature
In this step, candidates are required to furnish the following particulars:
- Education Qualification: Current Institute information, School Name, Qualifying exam, Board/ University, Year of passing etc.
- Uploading of candidate’s Photograph and Signature.
Photo and Signature Specifications
- Recent Passport size photograph with light background (preferably white).
- The size of the photograph should be minimum 35×45 mm.
- The photograph should have at least 75% coverage of face & head of candidate.
- Must be signed by the test taker on a white paper using a black/blue pen.
After this, applicants are required to go through the declaration thoroughly and select ‘I AGREE’ tab.
Step 3: Programs and Payment
Here, candidates are required to select the program and enter their address. With this, select the preferred mode of payment. A brief about the same are listed below:
MET 2023 Application Fees
- The application fee is INR 600 for the general category( all courses) and for the entrance test, the fee is INR 1400
- Application Fees for Foreign/NRI candidates are INR 2500
- Application fees can be paid through PayTM, Credit card/Debit card, or net banking.
- Payment can also be made through DD in favor of “Manipal Academy of Higher Education”, payable at Manipal or Udupi.

MET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility Criteria for MET 2023 is defined course-wise by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education. Common Eligibility Criteria for all courses is that there is no age limit. Listed below are the common eligibility criteria for various programs:
- Intermediate graduates or candidates who have passed an equivalent examination can register for MET 2023
- Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English should be compulsory subjects in 10+2
- Candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and one optional subject
- For Post Graduate Programs, the minimum percentage of 45% marks as an overall cumulative percentage must be secured in the qualifying UG degree.

MET 2023 Application Form: Offline Mode
Students also have the option of filling out the form in offline mode. Applicants will have to download and print the application form from the official website.
Instructions for filling out the form in offline mode:
- Applicants must fill out the application form in their own handwriting and use a black or blue ballpoint pen only.
- Avoiding striking or overwriting. Doing so might get your application form rejected.
- Fill out the MET application form in capital letters.
- Make sure you write within the square box provided and also one square box will be occupied by only one letter or number. Do not write in running handwriting.
- Fill out the course codes very carefully
- Paste your photograph on the application form. Do not staple or pin the picture. Paste it properly; otherwise, your form might get rejected.
- DD needs to be made in favor of “Manipal Academy of Higher Education” payable at either Udupi or Manipal.
- Candidates paying the application fee through DD have to send the print copy of the filled application form along with DD to the following address:
