Candidates are required to read the details about MAT eligibility criteria 2023 before filling the application form. Given below are the eligibility criteria that the candidate should adhere to to qualify for MAT 2023.

Age Limit

No upper age limit specified by AIMA to appear for MAT 2023

Minimum Marks

No minimum percentage specified for taking the exam. However, every institute has its own minimum percentage requirement for admission.

In the case of grades or CGPA, the percentage of marks calculation will be based on a procedure certified by the respective Institute in accordance with the participating management institute’s eligibility criteria.
Number of Attempts No bar on the number of attempts for MAT exam, thus the candidate can take the examination as many times as they want till they succeed.
Work Experience No minimum work experience required for taking MAT 2023

The candidate should note that the All India Management Association has fixed the channel of reservation which is the same as that of last year’s examination. Aspirants have to secure the minimum cut off score on the basis of which they will be shortlisted and eventually will proceed further to the next rounds of interview.

AIMA does not specify the eligibility criteria for admission to various MBA colleges. All participating colleges have their own eligibility criteria for admission. Candidates are required to go through these before applying for admission based on MAT 2023:

  • At least 50% to 60% marks would be required in graduation
  • Professional degree holders may be given some relaxations
  • Women candidates may be given weightage.
  • Candidates with work experience may be given more weightage
  • Academic performance in classes X and XII may be given more weightage.

MAT Eligibility for IBT Mode 2023

The candidate has to meet the minimum eligibility criteria to appear for MAT Internet-Based Test.

  • Computer Requirements: A computer system with a webcam to capture images.
  • Local server or Cache proxy in order to store test delivery information and temporarily storing candidate results.
  • Operating System: Windows 8.1 and Windows 10
  • Browsers: Prefer using Microsoft Internet Explorer
  • Internet connection: Broadband internet connection of speed 4Mbps and Upload speed of 1Mbps. A separate device for LAN and internet is advised rather than an integrated device.
