The following are some of the important exam day guidelines for candidates appearing for JEECUP 2023. A candidate should always abide by these guidelines to take a carefree examination:
- Always carry the hard copy of your JEECUP admit card along with you. No digital copy is permitted.
- In case of unavailability of admit cards, no candidate is allowed to enter the exam center premises.
- No electronic device, textual material, log tables, calculator, edibles, slide rules, smartwatch, bits of paper, mobile phone or pager, etc is permitted inside the exam hall.
- Candidates appearing for Pen-Paper-based JEECUP 2023 must always remember to carry their stationery items like a black/blue ballpoint pen, eraser, and pencil.
- A biometric test is done for candidates appearing for Online JEECUP 2023. Therefore, one should not put on too much makeup or Henna (on the left hand).
- A candidate must report to the exam center at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the examination.

Ans. Candidates should be minimum of 14 years old tentatively on 1st July 2023 to apply for JEECUP. Also, there is no upper age limit to appear in the exam.
Ques. I have not completed my class 10 but I am appearing in the class 10 exam. Can I apply for JEECUP 2023?
Ans. Yes, you can appear for JEECUP 2023. But, you will be admitted on a provisional basis. Make sure you have your class 10 degrees in hand tentatively before June 15, 2023.
Ques. Can a candidate take JEECUP for practice, even though they are not eligible to apply?
Ans. No, a candidate is not allowed to take JEECUP without satisfying the eligibility criteria. Hence, you must make sure that you satisfy all the conditions defined by UPTBE.
Ques. Am I eligible to apply for JEECUP 2023 if I have completed class 10 outside UP?
Ans. You are allowed to apply for JEECUP in that case if only you have the domicile of UP. Otherwise, your school must be UP Board approved.

Ans. Yes. JEECUP is a gateway to all Polytechnic courses offered by UPBTE. Once you clear the exam, you may apply to any of your choice of programmes. However, you must attain the minimum JEECUP criteria for that course.

Ans. It is always advisable to carry a colored printout of your JEECUP 2023 Hall Ticket. It makes the verification process easy.
