IMU CET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
All the applicant needs to meet some basic eligibility criteria before proceeding with IMU CET 2023 Application Process. Some basic eligibility criteria are represented below.
- Candidate must have passed 10+2 with the subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with a minimum score of 60% in aggregate and 50% in the English language.
- Applicant must have a valid photo ID proof such as Passport.
- The age of the candidate should be minimum of 17 years and a maximum of 25 years as of August 2023.
- Candidates who want to apply for marine courses should have a medical fitness certificate issued by the Director-General of Shipping
How to Fill IMU CET 2023 Application Form?
IMU CET 2023 Application Form will be available through online mode, and It consists of many steps such as registration, filling up the information, documents uploading, fee payment, etc. The application form must be filled up and submitted by some steps mentioned below.
Step 1: Registration Process
- Go to the official website of IMU or Indian Maritime University i.e. www.imu.edu.in
- Click on the link “CET 2023-Apply online”
- Go through all the information on the website
- Click on the check box “I have read and understood and agree to abide by the instructions”
- Click on register and a register window will be open up
- Fill up all the required details
- Click on the “Submit” button
- Receive application number through the registered email ID or SMS to the mobile number
- Login with application number and Date of Birth as password
Step2: Application Form Filling
- Fill up all the required details on the application form such as the name of the candidate as per the mark sheet of class 10, name of parents, gender, nationality, date of birth as per the scorecard of class 10, correspondence and permanent address of the candidate, academic details like score or percentage, year of passing, name of the board from where the candidate has got through the examination, examination center selection for IMU CET 2023 up to 3 maximum, physical fitness criteria if any, etc.
- Click on the “Submit” button
Step3: Documents Upload Process
- Upload all the necessary documents such as mark sheet of class 10 and class 12, scanned copy of the certificate of degree courses, scanned copy of category certificate for the candidates belonging from the reserved category such as SC or Schedule Cast and ST or Schedule Tribe or (OBC) Other Backward Class certificate or EWS or Economically Weaker Section
- Upload scanned copy of colored passport size photograph that should be in light or white colored background with some other restriction such as without any cap, hats or other religious headwear, sunglasses or spectacles on the face and must be 200*230 pixels in size and also less than or equal to 50 KB
- Upload scanned signature with the resolution of 200*100 pixels and less than 10KB in size and must be in a black pen with a white paper background
Step 4: Registration Fee Payment
- After the successful completion of all the above-mentioned process candidate need to pay the registration fee of INR 1000 for the candidates belonging to general or (OBC) Other backward Class category and INR 700 for the candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC or ST
- The candidate will have to pay the registration fee through online modes such as Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.
- Take the registration slip that will be automatically generated and keep it for future references.
