ICAI CA Exam Application Form 2022 (Released), Direct Link, Dates, Fees, and Process

ICAI CA Exam Application Form 2022 for the May session is released on February 21, 2022. Applicants can register for Foundation, Intermediate, and Final courses by visiting the official website of icai.org.in. • Candidates can also fill out the application forms by March 20, 2022, by paying an additional late fee of INR 600.
• ICAI conducts Foundation, Intermediate, and Final examinations twice a year- May and November.
• ICAI Exam for the May session is expected to be held in the 3^rd and 4^th week of May, 2022. 
• It is essential for candidates to register with the Board of Studies after successfully passing the Class 10th examination. The eligibility for direct registration to intermediate examination is successful completion of foundation and Class 12th exam.
• The registration fee for Foundation is INR 9000. The registration fees will be valid for a period of 3 years, on the lapse of registration, candidates can register themselves by paying fees of INR 500.

How to fill ICAI Application Form 2022?

ICAI Exam 2022 Application Form- Chartered Accountancy candidates can apply for ICAI exams/courses by registering themselves on the official website of ICAI. The step-wise procedure has been given below:

Step 1: Registration procedure for first-time applicants-

• Candidates are requested to go to the official ICAI website- www.icai.org.
• Proceeded by clicking on the login/register tab on the main page of the website;
• The registration page requires candidates to fill in details like their course/level, registration number, date of birth in accordance with certificates, mobile number, landline number, and valid email address.
• Candidates are requested to confirm the same by clicking on the confirm option in order to get themselves registered.

The registration fees for first time applicants to appear in ICAI 2022 is tabulated below:

Step 2: Filling in the ICAI Exam Application Form-

• Post completing the registration, applicants must proceed to fill in the application form.
• Candidates are requested to authenticate the same by using their date of birth, SRN, and course.
• Post authentication, candidates are required to provide their email ID and mobile number and then log in using their registration number so provided along with the password.
• After being logged in, candidates are requested to correctly fill in their address and other required details such as academic information asked for in the application form.
• Candidates are then required to upload their scanned photograph and signature in the prescribed format being- 3.5*4.5 cm

Documents Required to fill ICAI 2022 Application Form

Candidates would be required to upload scanned copies of the following documents while filing ICAI 2022 Application Form:

• Passport Size photograph
• Signature of the candidate
• Valid Email Id and Mobile Number
• CA Foundation Registration Number
• Declaration attested from parents/guardian/ Head of educational institution/Gazetted Officer/ Member of ICAI

Step 3: ICAI Exam Application Fees Payment

• Followed by filling in the application form, candidates are requested to pay the ICAI exam application fees.
• ICAI Application Forms can be downloaded for free however, candidates are required to pay the exam fees during registration.
• Applicants are required to pay the application fees online at the payment getaway provided on the official website.
• The methods to pay online are the following: a) Net Banking, b) Bhim UPI c) Credit/Debit Card.

Given below are the application fees course and center wise. Candidates are requested to pay an amount of INR 600 in addition as late fee for the Kathmandu Center and 4 domestic centers and USD 10 for the Overseas Center provided the application is submitted between 13th to 20th March 2022.

ICAI Application Form 2022: Eligibility

Candidates can register themselves for foundation program subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions:

• Candidates should have registered on or before January 1, 2022, for May session and on or before January 1, 2022, for November session.
• Candidate should have appeared in the Class 12th examination from a recognized board.
• Examination Fees should be paid within the stipulated time.

Important Instructions for ICAI 2022 Application Form

• The candidate is required to create a login ID on the official ICAI website, which is a one-time registration process;
• Once the candidate has registered, they will receive a username and password on the email ID they provided during registration. The same will also be shared via an SMS on the mobile number shared during the process of one-time registration;
• The candidate is required to login using the credentials so provided during the one-time registration in order to access the application form;
• The candidate is required to fill in the form accurately with valid details. Incomplete forms will be rejected.
• Followed by which, the candidate is required to pay the application fee which is acceptable only through the online mode (even UPI payments are accepted);
• After submission of the application form, the candidates are advised to get a printout of the same as it might be required later;
• If the image uploaded does not show on the application form, then the candidate will have to attach two latest colored photographs of dimensions (passport size- 3.5*4.5) one attested and one non- attested;
• If the candidate’s signature does not reflect on the application form, then the candidate must sign on the specified places and also get it attested by the parents/guardian at the specified place;
• The candidate will be required to get the ICAI CA 2022 application form attested either by Gazetted Officer/Principal of School/University or a Chartered Accountant.
