IBSAT Section-wise Marks

IBSAT 2022- Section-wise Marks Distribution

IBSAT 2022 is a very potent test of English and Mathematics. Unlike most management tests, IBSAT has separate Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension sections. The importance and weightage offered to the verbal ability section is quite disproportionate, as it is nearly 20 marks more than that of the other sections. This also means that you need to prioritise the Verbal Ability section while preparing for IBSAT 2022

Here is the section wise distribution of marks for IBSAT 2022 -

IBSAT Section Marks Allotted Number of Questions
Verbal Ability 50 50
Reading Comprehension 30 30
Quantitative Ability 30 30
Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency 30 30
Total 140 140

IBSAT Syllabus

IBSAT 2022 Syllabus for MBA

IBSAT 2022 is slightly different from other management exams like CAT, XAT, SNAP etc. as the most important section is that of Verbal Ability and that there is no general awareness section or logical reasoning section. By extension, english language is the subject you need to focus your preparation on, as over 70 marks of the total weightage is from this section alone. However, the maths section which is divided into Data Interpretation, Data Sufficiency and Quantitative Ability is also important as it is just as scoring depending on your preparation.
