How to Calculate CGPA in CBSE Class 10 Result?

The process to calculate the CGPA is given below: 

  • Add the grade points of the main five subjects. 
  • Divide the total by 5. The resulting number will be your CGPA. 

For example, if the grade points are 9,9,8,9,8, then the CGPA will be:

CGPA = (9 + 9 + 8 + 9 + 8) / 5 

CGPA = 8.6 

How to Convert CGPA into Percentage?

To convert the CGPA into percentage, you need to multiply the CGPA with 9.5.

For example, if the CGPA is 8.6, then

Percentage = 8.6 × 9.5 = 81.7 % 


Class 10 Result Revaluation

CBSE Class 10 Result 2023: Revaluation 

If a candidate is not satisfied with the marks obtained in CBSE class 10 result then they can apply for revaluation of their answer sheets. The revaluation process involves 3 steps:

  • Verification of Marks: In this step any errors related to totalling of marks and unmarked answers are verified. 
  • Obtaining Photocopy of Answer Sheets: Students can then obtain photocopy of the answer sheets of the subjects for which they applied for verification. 
  • Revaluation: They can now check for questions which they want to be re-evaluated in their answer sheets and can apply for the same.

CBSE Class 10 Compartment Exams 2023

CBSE class 10 compartment exams will be conducted tentatively in June 2023. This year, the exams were held from August 23 to August 29, 2022. The compartment exams are another chance for students who did not pass in CBSE class 10 result. 

  • The compartment exam for class 10 will be conducted for a duration of 2 hours from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. 
  • The syllabus for compartment exams will be based on the CBSE class 10 syllabus for regular exams.
