AP Inter 2^nd Year Syllabus 2023

2^nd Year Mathematics II (A) Syllabus

The 2^nd year mathematics syllabus covers the below topics:

The following topics are excluded from the syllabus: 

• Complex Numbers: Square root of a Complex Number and related problems in solved problems
• Quadratic Expressions: Quadratic inequalities
• Theory of Equations: Transformation of Equations Permutations & Combinations Derivation of formula npr and ncr
• Bi-nominal theorem
• Partial Functions
• Measures of Dispersion: Coefficient of variation and analysis of frequency distributions with equal means Solved problems

2^nd Year Mathematics II (B) Syllabus

The topics included in Mathematics II (B) are as follows: 

• Coordinate Geometry: Circle, System of Circle, Parabola, Ellipse, Hyperbola
• Calculus: Integration, Definite Integral, Differential Equations

Excluded Topics

Following are the topics excluded from the syllabus: 

• Circles: Relative positions of two circles
• Parabola: Tangents & Normal
• Ellipse: Equations of tangents & Normal
• Definite Integrals: Definite integral as the limit of the sum and limit of the sum
• Application of Definite integrals to areas
• Differential Equations: Formation of Differential Equations and problems related to it, Non – Homogeneous Differential Equations, Solution of linear differential Equations of the type dx+Px=Q. 

AP Inter 2^nd Year Biology Syllabus

The Biology at higher secondary level has been divided into two parts - Botany and Zoology. The syllabus for both the parts is mentioned below:

AP Inter 2^nd Year Important Books

The textbooks for class 12^th by Andhra Pradesh Board are designed keeping in mind the entire syllabus and exam pattern as prescribed by the Board. The books cover all the important topics in which each chapter and topic is elaborated with suitable examples. Exercise questions given at the end of the chapters are provided for the practice point of view. Apart from the books prescribed by the board there are a lot of reference books that are opted by the candidates to develop a clear understanding of the topic. For example, Pradeep’s Biology Vol 1 and Vol 2 for higher secondary exam, H.C.Verma Physics, Solomons Organic Chemistry etc. But it is suggested for the candidates to mandatorily read the textbook prescribed by the Andhra Pradesh Board. The questions in the board exam will be largely bridged from board prescribed textbooks. Some of the important reference books are tabulated below:
