AP intermediate syllabus 2022-23 has been released by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh on its official website. Students appearing for AP class 12 exams 2023 can download their respective subject syllabus from the official website of the board – bie.ap.gov.in

  • The AP inter exams for second year will be held from March 16 to April 4, 2023. 
  • The exams of the first year are scheduled from March 15 to April 3, 2023. 
  • AP Board 12th result will be declared in the month of June 2023, tentatively.

  • Waves - Doppler effect and its two situations
  • Ray Optics and Optical Instruments - Reflection of light by spherical mirrors, the mirror equation. Scattering of light reddish appearance of the sun at sunrise and sunset and blue colors of sky.
  • Wave Optics – Diffraction: Resolving power of optical instruments (microscope and astronomical telescope) Polarisation: Polarisation of reflection (Brewster’s law) plane polarized light (uses) polaroids, polarization by scattering.
  • Electric Charges and Fields - Application of Gauss’s law: Field due to uniformly charged thin spherical shell (field inside and outside)

AP Inter 2nd Year Important Books

The textbooks for class 12th by Andhra Pradesh Board are designed keeping in mind the entire syllabus and exam pattern as prescribed by the Board. The books cover all the important topics in which each chapter and topic is elaborated with suitable examples. Exercise questions given at the end of the chapters are provided for the practice point of view. Apart from the books prescribed by the board there are a lot of reference books that are opted by the candidates to develop a clear understanding of the topic. For example, Pradeep’s Biology Vol 1 and Vol 2 for higher secondary exam, H.C.Verma Physics, Solomons Organic Chemistry etc. But it is suggested for the candidates to mandatorily read the textbook prescribed by the Andhra Pradesh Board. The questions in the board exam will be largely bridged from board prescribed textbooks. Some of the important reference books are tabulated below:
