The following is a list of some of the key features of AP Board class 12 exam pattern 2022-23:

  • The exams will be conducted for a duration of three hours. 
  • The language papers will carry a total of 100 marks.
  • For subjects that include practicals, the theory paper will be of 70 marks and the remaining 30 marks will be allotted to practicals. 
  • The final AP inter result will be prepared considering 80% marks of the final board exams and 20% marks of internal assessment.
  • The question paper will contain both subjective and objective-type questions.

The subject in Andhra Pradesh class 12 are divided into four categories:

  • Subjects with maximum marks 100 - History, Geology, Home Science, Sociology, Logic, Public Administration, English, Optional Languages (Telugu, Hindi, Sanskrit, French, Urdu, Arabic, Tamil, Kannada, Oriya, Marathi), Commerce, Economics, Civics, and Psychology.
  • Subjects with maximum marks 75 - Maths and Geography.
  • Subjects with maximum marks 60 - Physics, Zoology, Chemistry, and Botany.
  • Subjects with maximum marks 50 - Music

Internal Assessment

AP Intermediate Exam Pattern 2023: Internal Assessments

The internal evaluation will take place at the school level and will be added to the final result. The total marks for the internal assessment will be 20 divided into different categories as given below:

Marking Scheme

The following is the marking scheme followed by Andhra Pradesh Board:

  • All the papers will be conducted for a total of 100 marks.
  • Students will be required to score a minimum of 35% marks in each subject to pass the exam.
