Candidates have to make sure they fulfil the following AP EAPCET 2023 Eligibility criteria for nationality -

AP EAPCET Eligibility Criteria 2023: Local/Non Local Status

In relation to a local area (AU/OU/SVU), candidates will be considered as a local candidate if they have: 

  • Studied in an educational institution(s) in a local area at least four consecutive academic years in which they have appeared or first appeared in the qualifying examination
  • Resided in the local area for no less than four years from the date of commencement of the relevant qualifying examination. 

The candidates, who do not fall under local candidates category, have to meet the following criteria for being considered as a local candidate

  • Studied in an educational institute for at least 7 consecutive academic years
  • Resided in a local area for a period of 7 consecutive years.

AP EAMCET Engg & Pharma.D Eligibility

AP EAPCET Eligibility Criteria 2023: For Engineering Courses and Pharm.D

Educational Qualification (either one of the following) Passed or appeared in the final year of Intermediate examination with their 10+2 pattern having Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as optional subjects or other vocational courses 
Passed or appeared in the final year of Diploma examination in respective field conducted by State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana or any equivalent examination recognized by State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana.
Minimum Marks At least 45% (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the subjects specified taken together in the qualifying examination

Qualifying marks for Pharm-D Course

For AP EAPCET 2023, the prescribed qualifying percentage of marks considered for ranking is 25% of the maximum marks. There is no minimum qualifying mark prescribed for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates. However, the admission for them is limited to seats reserved for such categories.

The agriculture exam will be conducted in the online mode. Candidates satisfying the following requirements are eligible to appear for AP EAPCET:

For B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.Sc. (Ag) / B.Sc. (Hort) / B.F.Sc. / B.Tech. (FS&T) courses: Candidates should have passed or just appeared for the final year of intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) or any examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana, with any two / three of the subjects indicated against each course noted below:

AP EAPCET Reservation 2023

A certain percentage of seats in AP EAPCET Participating Colleges are reserved for the candidates of the underprivileged section. These include SC, ST, PWD and OBC. The relaxation provided to them is based on government norms.

For AP EAPCET 2023, no official data for seat reservation will be released on the official website. Here, we are providing based on previous years, a curated list. We will update AP EAPCET Reservation details once the official notification for the same is out.
