A working individual can get direct enrollment for either part time or full time M. tech courses in institutes. The enrollment criteria vary from institute to institute but for NITs and IITs following terms should be met.

• Candidates must have an experience of at least 2 years.
• His current employer should be willing to financially assist him
• His current employer should be willing to grant him necessary leaves as per requirement of the course.
• Qualify the written test and the personal interview round conducted by the respective college/ university.
