Course Structure
The course is divided into 6 or 8 (in some cases) semesters. The assessment is based on performance in theory and internal examination.

Internal examination will consist of assignments, tests and practical files which students need to prepare during the college hours. In some universities like Christ University, there are no internals and only theoretical papers are conducted, upon the basis of which the assessment is done.
Separate exams are conducted for performance based papers and 100% weightage is accorded to these papers.

Dynamics of dance, music and theatre | Viniyogas, definition of Abhinayas, explaining Dharmis, Bharathanatya repertoire, Raga classificarion, Trinity of music, improvisation and imagination, Theatre design | The idea here is to make students understand the three forms of arts in more detailed version and provide them the tool of choosing specialization for themselves amongst the three. |
Value-Added course in Music | Raga Malika, Asthapathi, Patham, Bhajan, Divyanamakeerthana, Classical music | Providing with solid understanding of music as a subject to students, through they can learn various forms of music and can adopt the subject on the basis of their liking. |
Indian Theatre | NatyaSastra, Yakshagana, Types and forms of theatre, Analysing Indian plays, Character Psychology | Paper provides with advanced level of learning in the field of theatre. It provides platform to the students so that they can enrich their knowledge and enhance their skills. |
