Location Facts

Initially, the campus established in Oxford, Georgia but the main campus is now located in Atlanta. Center for Disease Control & Prevention and the American Cancer Society lies adjacent to the campus. Emory point is also located adjacent to the campus. The campus is surrounded by Druid hills. 


There are overall 11 schools under University of Virginia located around 8 miles from the airport and 2 miles from rail. The campus area is popularly known as university grounds. 


Library

The university 7 libraries- Robert Woodruff Rose Manuscript, Hugh Law, Pitts Theory Library, Oxford College Library, Woodruff health science center library, Goizueta library. The rose library holds 150,000 print titles and 1350 collections. 


The university has ten libraries that collectively have 5,000,000 print books; 700,000 ebooks; and 200,000 ejournals. The library also has a collection of 17th century newspapers, astronomical data.


Campus Life

The university has over 450 clubs and societies, 50 art clubs, LGBTQ community, 2 student organizations to join. You can also join 18 varsity sports clubs, The Emory Wheel newspaper, honor societies, sororities & fraternities, Barkley debate forum, and other clubs. The campus has one of the largest museums with southeastern American artifacts.  


With 800+ student clubs and 27 varsity athletic teams to join, University of Virginia offers you a wide variety of co-curricular to indulge in. The university maintains 17 courts, fields, and recreation centers for providing fitness and welfare programs. The university has both museums (1) and gallery (2) and organizes online exhibitions for its students.
