Padala Rami Reddy Law College offers five-year full-time BA LLB course along with three-year full-time LLB course.
Candidates who have completed their 10 + 2 with at least 45% aggregate marks from any recognized institute are eligible for BA – LLB course and for LLB course applicant should be a graduate in any discipline.
Selection to both the course is based on merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in TS –LAWCET conducted by Kakatiya University.
TS LAWCET consists of three parts comprising of total 120 questions for 120 marks and the duration of the test is 90 minutes. There is no negative mark for incorrect answers.
In Part A, 30 questions carrying 30 marks of General Knowledge and Mental Ability are asked, in Part – B: Consists of 30 questions of Current Affairs and in Part – C, 60 questions of Aptitude for the Study of Law are asked.
For five-year Law Course, the standard expected is of Intermediate level and for three-year Law Course, the standard expected is of Degree Level.

Key Points:
- Relaxation of 5% of marks in the qualifying examinations is given to candidates belonging to SC / S.T. Category.
- Age limit for three-year LL.B Course shall be 30 years (relaxation by five years in case of SCs/STs and other Backward Communities).
- For five-year BA LL.B. course age limit shall be 20 years (relaxation by two years in case of SCs/STs and other Backward Communities).
- Qualifying marks in TS LAWCET is 35% (i.e., 42 Marks out of 120 marks) however, for SC/ST candidates no minimum marks are prescribed.
- Of the total seats, 20% seats are filled through management quota at the college level.

- The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 25% (i.e. 30 marks out of total 120 marks).

Candidate need to apply at the official website of conducting body of TS-LAWCET and PGLCET. Counselling for admission to the Law courses is done by Telangana State Council for Higher Education.
The detailed application process for counselling in TS-LAWCET & TS-PGLCET is as follows:
- Visit the official online admission portal of Kakatiya University for TS- LAWCET & TS- PGLCET.
- Enter the Hall ticket number of the CET and other details and login.
- Candidates will receive a 5 digit Pin number after which click on Verify to proceed with choice filling.
- A window will appear displaying College details / Information for selection.
- After doing choice filling, candidates need to click on "SAVE & CONTINUE" to proceed for the submission of the priority list.
- Click "Final Submit" to submit the final options list.
- A copy of the options list is mailed to the candidate's registered email id.
