B.Ed.: Admission 2017

Admission to B. Ed. is done through entrance exam conducted by various states and institutions. Generally, the exam is conducted in the month of May or June and forms for the same are available online at the websites of respective institutes. Admission of candidates is subject to Cut Off released by the respective university subsequent to the B.Ed. entrance exam. 

B.Ed.: Distance Education

The minimum duration for B. Ed. through distance education is two years, however, the maximum duration is five years. Admission to the distance mode program is merit-based. Candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate in the undergraduate program in any discipline and 55% in postgraduate program. Along with this, candidates should have trained in-service teachers in elementary education or they must have completed a NCTE recognized teacher education program through face-to-face mode.

Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam. The selection process is usually conducted in the month of September every year. Admission to the BJMC programme is done on the basis of merit in the Entrance examination conducted by the college.
