SCREC Admissions 2023: Courses, Fees, Selection Criteria

Here we are providing details regarding the B.Tech course for those who wish to take admission in it.

There are 5 specializations in the B.Tech course which are tabulated below along with the intake

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from a recognized board.
• Candidate should have qualified Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) or JEE Main exams.

Selection Criteria

• Candidates who have qualified AP EAMCET have to appear for the counseling.
• The final admission is only through counseling process based on the rank obtained in the entrance exam.
• Candidates will have to select the college during the counselling.
• Selected candidates will be informed through a call and they need to report at the college for admission along with their documents.
• Applicants who have a valid score in JEE Main are also offered admission in the course.
• Such candidates need not appear in the counselling.

There are 3 specializations in the M.Tech course and they are mentioned below along with the seat intake

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate must have completed B.E./B.Tech or its equivalent degree in relevant branch of engineering with minimum 50% (45% marks in case of reserved categories) marks from AICTE/ UGC approved institute.
• Candidates must have qualified AP PGECET or GATE exam.

Selection Criteria

• Admission is through a counseling process based on the rank obtained in Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET).
• Candidates have to select the college at the time of counselling.
• Based on the rank obtained and college selected, seat allotment will be done
• Selected candidates will be intimidated through a call.
• All the selected candidates need to report at the college for further admission process along with valid documents.
• Students who have qualified GATE exam are provided direct admission in SCREC under the M.Tech course.

Eligibility Criteria

The minimum eligibility for MBA and MCA courses is a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% (45% marks in case of reserved categories) marks from a recognized university.

NOTE - For MCA, candidates must have studied Mathematics at 10+2 level.

Selection Criteria

• Candidates are selected for admission through counselling based on the rank obtained in AP ICET exam.
• During counselling, selected applicants have to pick SCREC as the preferred college.
• Based on the rank and choice, seats are alloted.
• After the allotment, applicants need to report at the college to complete the admission process.
• Candidates who have qualified CMAT are given direct admission in MBA.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board.
• Candidate willing to take admission in Diploma in Engineering should have qualified AP POLYCET Exam.

Selection Criteria

• Admission to Diploma in Engineering/Polytechnic course is based on the AP ICET exam.
• The qualified candidates are called for the counseling process based on the rank obtained.
• During counselling, students have to select the college as per their preference.
• The concerned authority will allot a seat based on the rank and college selected.
• Students who will be allotted a seat have to visit the college to complete further admission formalities.
