Institute of Hotel Management was established in 1989 and is situated at Badkhal Lake crossing in Faridabad a city in Haryana state. It is a private institute affiliated to Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and is approved by National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT).

IHM Faridabad offers an undergraduate program of Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Hotel Administration of a 3-year duration.

To get admission to B.Sc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration, candidates will have to clear the NCHMCT JEE entrance examination and selection will be done through counseling, conducted by NCHMCT. Counseling will be three rounds.

IHM also offers a 1.5-year Diploma program in 2 different streams, admission will through an application process at the college level. Candidates seeking admission should be passed or in the final year of 10+2 level examination with English subject.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate should have passed in 12th/Intermediate or its equivalent from any recognized board/university in all subjects.
• Candidate’s upper age limit is 25 Years & 3 Years relaxation for SC/ST category.

IHM offers a 1.5 Years of Diploma program in Food Production and Food & Beverage Services on a full time basis. Students who are 10+2 qualified can apply. English must be one of the main subjects.

Admission to the course will be based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination.

• Register at the official website of the NCHMCT 2023
• Enter the personal, academic details and upload the relevant photographs and signature. 
• After payment of their application fee online, submit the application form 
• Retain the application form hard copy print for future reference. 

For Diploma Courses

The application process for the diploma courses offered by college will be done through the application process; Applicants need to follow a sequence of steps to apply for the desired streams listed below:

1. Visit the official website of IHM Faridabad or open here.
2. Click on the Admission tab available on the home page.
3. Again click on How to Apply Tab.
4. Here you have the option to download the application form or also can visit the college office for the application form by paying Rs 500/- (Rs 400 in case of SC/ST candidate).
5. Take a printout of the same and fill the form with all the essential details.
6. Also, affix a recent passport size photo.
7. Duly filled in application form be forwarded to the Principal, Institute of Hotel Management, Badkhal Lake Crossing, Faridabad – 121 001 along with the fee of 550 ( 450 in case of SC/ST Candidates) through demand draft drawn in favor of Institute of Hotel Management payable at Faridabad.
