Amrita School of Dentistry, Kochi Admission 2024: Courses, Application Process, Eligibility, Fees

Under the Dentistry Department, Amrita School offers a full-time BDS course for the duration of five years. Applicants who have passed Intermediate/ 10+2 in Science stream from a recognized board are eligible to apply for admission. Selection of the candidates is done on the basis of NEET-UG score.

Key Points:

• Admission of the candidates is done through Common Counseling conducted by Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India.
• Amrita School of Dentistry does not have any seats under Management Quota, admission is given only through NEET-UG (AIR).

Amrita School of Dentistry offers a 3-year MDS program in 9 specializations. Candidates who have completed BDS Degree from any recognized State/ Central university are eligible for admission. Those who have qualified NEET-PG are considered for admission based on their All India Rank.

Key Points:

• Seats are allotted on the basis of counselling conducted by the institute.
• The candidates have to complete the compulsory rotational internship on or before April 30 and submit their registration certificate by May 10.
• The candidates applying under NRI category have to submit the photocopy of their passport at the time of admission cum counselling.

Full-time Diploma in Dental Mechanics for the duration of 2 years is offered by Amrita School of Dentistry. Candidates who have completed HSC with Physics, Biology, Chemistry and English are eligible for admission.

Selection is done through the evaluation of merit in the qualifying examination and performance in the interview round.

Note: Candidate must not be less than 17 years of age and not more than 23 years as on December 31.
