Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology – (NIIFT), located in Mohali, Punjab was established in 1995. The Mohali campus offers B.Sc course in Fashion Design and Textile Design.

At Postgraduate level the institute offers two disciplines namely Garment Manufacturing Technology and Fashion Marketing and Merchandising.

NIIFT, Mohali UG Courses Admission 2023

NIIFT, Mohali offers B.Design course in 2 disciplines at UG level.

Applicant must have passed HSC or equivalent exam from a recognized board. Candidates having 3 or 4 - years diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education are also eligible to apply.

They will have to sit for an entrance exam; shortlisted candidates will be called for situation test followed by the interview.

Final merit list will be prepared considering candidate’s performance in entrance exam, situation test and interview. The weight age of each test for determining final merit is given below:

At Post graduate level NIIFT, Mohali offers 2 years M.Sc course in 2 specializations. Candidates applying must have passed B.Sc/ B.Tech/ B.E or B.A/ B.Com/ BBA/ BCA from a recognized institute.

An entrance exam is conducted to shortlist the candidates for the interview. Final selection to the course is on the basis of entrance exam and Interview. The weight age assigned to each test for preparing merit is given below:

Candidates seeking admission in any of the UG or PG courses have to apply through online mode and then send the filled in application form to the institute on or before the last date of May 05.

As application fee general category candidates are required to make payment of INR 1750 (for SC/ST/ PhP candidates’ fee is INR 440) either through credit card / Debit card/ net banking to AIMA or in form of Demand Draft of INR 1750 in favour of NIIFT Mohali.
Candidates will have to send a printout of filled in form along with photograph pasted on it and demand draft ( if applicable ) to:
