Baldwin Women’s Methodist College Bangalore Admission 2023: UG Admission

Baldwin Women’s Methodist College was established in the year 1903. Later in the 1990's, the higher secondary courses and degree courses were included to foster educational medium for women. The degree courses are affiliated to Bangalore University. 

BWMC offers higher secondary and Degree programs in Arts, Science, Commerce, Business Management and IT. The basic eligibility criteria considered for admission is merit score of the their respective qualifying examination (Higher Secondary aspirants needs to complete their 10th and Degree applicants must complete their 12th level of education)

Based on merit, candidates along with their parents will be called for an interview with the Principal of BWMC. Right to admission shall be governed solely by the Principal of BWMC. Selected candidates will be intimated regarding their status. Fee submission process will begin thereafter, failing to which, the candidature shall stand cancelled. 

Reviews suggest that BWMC is considered on top preference by female candidates to pursue PUC and B.Com in the Silicon Valley of India, Bangalore.

Baldwin Women’s Methodist College offers various undergraduate courses such as;

The degree courses are offered in full time regular mode for three years and affiliated to Bangalore University.

The basic eligibility for degree admission into each course is completion of 10+2 level of education from a recognised board. 

BWMC also offers admission into 10+2 level for Arts Science and Commerce streams for full time two years regular mode. Applicants must complete Secondary level of education to be eligible to apply. 

Baldwin Women’s Methodist College Selection Criteria

• For the final Selection, the candidate will be intimated regarding the interview scheduled at BWMC. 
• The interview will be presided over by the Principal. 
• Based on the scores in 10th and 12th examination, candidates will be shortlisted for the interview. 
• Candidates with their parents have to attend the interview round. They must bring the original certificates with them on the day of the interview. 
• After the interview, if found suitalem, selection letters will be disbursed to each individual 
• The principal reserves the right to admission and decode the merit list of qualified candidates. 
• If selected, candidates must submit their original certificates for verification as per admission formalities. 
• After the verification formalities, originals will be returned back to the candidate. 
• Candidates will have to pay the admission fee within the given schedule and start attending the class from the given date. 
• Failing to any one of the cases above shall consider cancellation of candidature.

  • 10th and 12th Mark Sheets and Certificate
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Migration Certificate
  • SC/ST/OBC caste certificates (if applicable)
  • Income certificate
  • Eligibility Certificate (for foreign students only, with 2 copies of Passport & Visa)
  • Aadhar Card
• Original Membership letter (If Methodist)
• 6 passport size photos
• If parents work for Baldwin Institutions: enclose the Original Employee Certificate 

Steps to apply offline

• Download the application form or collect it directly from the Admission office or at Vijaya Bank BGHS Extension Counter, No. 90 Richmond Road, Bangalore. 
• Fill out the application form. Paste a passport size photograph and put signatures as asked at the relevant places. 
• Enter the personal, academic details. Tick for the program preferred for.
• Attach a passport sized photograph of the parents and guardian as well. 
• Pay the application form fee by submitting it directly at the admission office. The application fee is INR 600/-.
