Nagpur Veterinary College is one of the Government Veterinary Colleges in Maharashtra. The college is popularly known as NVC Nagpur and it was founded in the year 1958. The institute is affiliated to Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University (MAFSU) and is approved by the Veterinary Council of India.
Nagpur Veterinary College provides courses under the basic classification of Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs in 14 specializations. Candidates must have cleared graduation in B.V.Sc.& A.H. with a minimum of 50% from a recognized institution to be eligible for Masters in Veterinary College. Along with this, he/she has to appear for NEET-PG entrance exam also.
The admission in MVSc. is based on the basis of NEET-PG score during the counseling of NEET conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and also on the score in MHT-CET followed by three round counseling by the Government of Maharashtra.
