Yashwantrao Chavan School of Rural Development, Kolhapur

The Yashwantrao Chavan School of Rural Development (YCSRD), part of Shivaji University, was founded in honor of Yashwantrao Chavan, whose vision of an agro-industrial cooperative model greatly influenced Maharashtra's development. YCSRD is a multidisciplinary institution focused on rural development through academic programs, research, training, and extension services.
