Aspirants seeking admission to 3 years full-time B.tech lateral program should meet the following criteria as

Academic Requirement:

• Passed Minimum 3-years / 2-Years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination in any branch of Engg. & Tech. with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category). OR
• Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject. (The Universities will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to achieve desired learning outcomes of the program)
• For Kashmiri Migrants (KM) relaxation in cut-off percentage upto 10% subject to minimum eligibility requirement.

Admission Criteria: 

Admissions in B.E./ B.Tech (Lateral Entry) shall be made on the basis of the rank/inter-semerit to be prepared by HSTES from the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
